I chose to paint Kyo and Tohru together from Natsuki Takaya's manga series, Fruits Basket. Through rocky and terrible times, they found love and hope in each other in such a beautiful way. One's life would not be complete without the other.
It's wonderful to think they can also embrace each other in the end.
Artistically, I wanted them to appear to be laying down on bedsheets while at the same time backlit by the sun's warm rays.
Takaya's Fruits Basket is one of my very favorite series and deserves a try from everyone. Here's to finding the glowing warm of love, even when you think you are lost alone in the darkness.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique Impactfirst of all, i really like the coloring, yellow and white background in a wounderfull design wich resembles the sun. you can also feel the warmness of it just by looking at it. the characters are really adorable and very good drawn. very good sun color effect on them. the hair is very good shaded & detailed . but the thing confuses me is are they standing on the ground , falling or allready down? (i guess they are over the background since its called "Bed") but it dont really look like that. so overall. yeah its really amazing. and a very lovably artwork <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
